| The Zombies are very much apart of Music culture. They were a great band, that developed different classics. White Hot has taken one of these classics and completely transformed it into a great hard hitting banger. It was a great idea and track. "Time of The Season" has to be the song that The Zombies are famous for, so I when I saw this I had to check it out. It was nothing like I expect and completely different than the original, and it is so good. White Hot has been getting involved with house and electronic music, but mostly does rap beats. However I'm definitely glad he dropped this. For more from White Hot check out his SoundCloud. |
Ever since I saw Mark Ronson and Mystikal perform this on SNL this song has been playing on repeat. Mark Ronson and Mystikal combine forces to bring us, "Feel Right," a funk filled, good vibe, song.
It will get you feeling like your back in the James Brown era. It is awesome. Mark Ronson lays down catchy soul rifts on the guitar, while Mystikal kills it. For more from Mark Ronson check out his website.
Tunji Ige, 19 year old Rapper/Producer currently attending West Chester University in Philly, has been steadily gaining attention and putting out content recently. Tunji Ige is a versatile rapper that combines his hard-hitting verses, with his smooth voice. Recently Tunji Ige has worked with Michael Christmas and ILOVEMAKONNEN to bring us his "Day2Day" remix. His different verses worked insanely well with the beat as he moves into the smooth hook. Then the song completely switches up to an up-beat tempo which will sink you in. Tunji Ige also released a new video for his song "Slow Dance." It is an epic song, that has a great transe-indusing video to compliment it. It takes the typical rap music video stereotype, and removes all the context. It is a simple idea that turned out great. Definitely be on the look out for more from this artist on SoundCloud. Also, make sure to download his, "The Love Project" when it comes out on December 3rd. You can RSVP for it Here.
The power duo from North California are back at it again. Today they bring us their new take on Ol Dirty Bastard's "Ghetto Superstar" with Mya. This new version puts a modern spin on the classic track, adding new bass lines and powerful synth drops. The unlikely duo combines Victor "Goshfather" Tapia with Jeremy "Jinco" Berger to create diverse music and shows. Their music is intense, and that is exactly how they like to have there shows; an intense celebration. We have recently received another track from them and Dr. Fresch in the past, called "Lovefool which was a great remix of The Cardigans' "Lovefool." Both tracks are a great example of their work and I highly suggest you look into more from Goshfather & Jinco in the future.
The art of Mash-Ups has become less and less apparent in this years music culture. Carlos Serrano might be the man to change that. The creative mind from San Diego, has dropped several different Mash-Ups that show the art form is still alive and well, transforming these different songs into a completely new sound. Recently, Serrano has released "Thugz Drowning." It is a Mash-Up/Bootleg combing 2pac's "Thugz Mansion," with BANKS' "Drowning," and it is insane. The deep verses of 2pac collide in an unexpected pile of perfection with the smooth beat and vocals of BANKS for the chorus. The most recent release, however, may in fact be one of the most perfect integration of two different artists that will have you asking, "Why haven't they done anything together yet?" "Tell Me I'm The Only One," combines Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and Sam Smith's "I'm Not The Only One" to make a completely unique and beautiful piece. Be on the look out for more from Carlos Serrano.

Undoubtedly one of the most accomplished artists in recent years, G-Eazy has been a favorite with Nation United Music. Today, he released two new songs. The first one, he hops on Kehlani's track to add some downbeat verses that changes the mood in the song in a great collaboration. The second song is just straight filthy. It samples "Tried by 12" by East Flatbush Project, which has been used in different BET Cyphers. Eazy goes in on this beat in his typical style and it's great. G-Eazy is currently on his From The Bay, To The Universe Tour and just announced new cities. Grab Tickets Here. If you have not been paying attention to DIEMON Record's Rapper/Producer Russ then you're missing out on one of the most creative sounds in today's music culture. After his single Gypsy has taken off, Russ is back with King and Boomerang. King shows off Russ' ability to go in on a hard beat, while Boomerang shows that a downbeat song can always be a hit. Russ has been steadily putting music out and recently opened for SoMo. Definitely be on the look out for new content from this artist. Check out his album Silence, Here.
